Last summer and also this year, I made some drawings. Some of them are gifts to friends, almost all taken from anime or mangas, which are what we like the most. Hope you like it ^^

Last Thursday, two friends and I went to a Japanese restaurant. We love both Japanese culture and food so we were very excited and ordered a lot of food. First, we ate three delights rice, noodles, sweet-sour chicken and veal. Eating all that food with the chopsticks was so great !
We couldn't leave that place without tasting the famous sushi and sashimi, so here they are. Sushi was accompanied by a kind of very hot sauce (that green thing), but it was quite delicious. All three of us ended with our stomach ready to explode (>-<)
I hope someday I can go to a Japanese ramen shop, such as in animes and movies ^^
I have talked about literature, music, studies, and even political... But I've not talked about cinema yet. So, it's the time !
Tim Burton and Quentin Tarantino are my favourite directors. I think their films are authentic cinema masterpieces. Surely you have heard about them, but if not, I'll tell you about the best films I've watched in my life.
Tim Burton is famous for its animated films, characterized by being gloomy, gothic, and continually associated with death and darkness. 'The Nightmare Before Christmas', 'Corpse Bride' and 'Frankenweenie' are some of his best known films, but has many more. He has also produced films with real actors, as 'Edward Scissorhands', 'Big Fish' or 'Sweeney Todd'.
If you have not seen any of the movies I have mentioned before, hurry up !! You're not late yet ;)
I am a really fanatic of Tarantino's films. If I had to choose one of them, I wouldn't be able to; all are gorgeous and unique masterpieces. The pictures above are his most famous films: 'Kill Bill', 'Pulp Fiction' and 'Reservoir Dogs'. Moreover, he has directed many more, such as 'Jackie Brown' or 'Django Unchained'. Tarantino is a lover of violence and blood, and his stories are full of timing jitters (flashback, flashforward, ellipsis, etc.). They're like a puzzle, and that is why I like them so much.

I suppose that you know on of the recent referendum for the independence of Scotland. The referendum is the first time that under-18s anywhere in the UK have been able to vote on a major matter of state.
Scotland was an independent state until the year 1707, when signed a Record of Union with the United Kingdom. Surely you have seen the Mel Gibson's movie 'Braveheart', and know something about that. Scotland has been an important part of UK's history, and for this reason this referendum has caused such a commotion.
The result has been approximately with 50.1 No to 49.9% Yes. Almost 85% of the electorate turned out to vote, which was an unpredictable fact. Though Scotland continues concerning to the United Kingdom, this one will not return to be the same after this event.

It's been a while since the last time I posted here...
Well, a lot ot things have happened to me all that time. Now, I'm a university student !
I just started classes at the college and I really love it. The level is much higher and requires me greater English proficiency. Even so, I'm looking forward to learn more about English language, culture, and how to pronunciate properly.
Wish me luck ! ^^
